Ancient Yogis believed that deep states of meditation were best achieved by preparing the body first. The gentle movements, breathing techniques, mantra and mudras offered in this class promote a relaxed state of mind and body. The nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrine systems will begin to function optimally. Experience of self is heightened through awareness and mindfulness of our subtle bodies. Consistency and practice of these ancient techniques will continue to enhance meditative experiences.
Please bring your own mat, water bottle, journal and pen; also a cushion if desired. Dress in comfy clothes and bring an open mind. All exercises can also be done seated in a chair, if sitting on the floor is not comfortable for you. Love offerings will be donated to CSL Bellingham. We will meet for 75 minutes.
