A Four-Week Book Study Inspiring Hope and Action

Monday, October 18 & 25 and November 8 & 15 from 6:30-8:00 PM on Zoom

Elin Kelsey, PhD, is a leading spokesperson, scholar and educator in the area of evidence-based hope. Elin’s work focuses on the reciprocal relationship between humans and the rest of nature, particularly in relation to the emotional implications of the narrative of environmental doom and gloom on children and adults. Passionate about bringing science-based stories of hope and multi-species resilience to the public, Kelsey has written an inspiring book, Hope Matters, which focuses on solution-focused and hope-inspiring stories that are both current and informational.

Our own Cathy Angell will be leading a Zoom book study on Kelsey’s hope-inspiring book, and we warmly invite you — especially if you have been feeling hopeless and helpless in the face of the dramatic weather and natural events of this summer — to register and attend.

Class dates are 10/18 & 10/25, 11/8 & 11/15 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM.

Register at info@csl-bellingham.org, and we will send a Zoom link for the book study.
